Course
Content: The course covers the
following topics:

filmmaking in Tanzania

techniques required to make a film

Pre-production:
writing a script, casting actors, and finding locations
·
Production: shooting a
film, directing actors, and working with crew members
· Post-production: editing a film, scoring a film, and creating visual effects
Course
Delivery: The course is delivered
online through a combination of video lectures, readings, and assignments over
a period of four weeks. Once a week for one hour students have access to video
lectures by experienced filmmakers, readings from leading film scholars, and
assignments that will allow them to apply the concepts they have learned.
Course
Assessment: Students are assessed
on their ability to understand the course material and to apply the concepts
they have learned. Assessment is based on the following:

Midterm exam (25%)

Final exam (50%)

Assignments (25%)
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course.
However, students who have taken a film studies course or who have experience
in filmmaking will be at an advantage.
Instructor: The course is taught by filmmakers and Producers with over 10 years of experience in the industry. having worked on a variety of films, including feature films, documentaries, and short films. He is passionate about teaching filmmaking and helping students to develop their skills and talents.
Cost: The cost of the course is $100 or 200,00 TZS. This includes
access to all course materials, assessments, and support from the instructor.
